Dear Parents,

Welcome to Walkersville United Methodist Church Weekday Nursery School.  I am pleased to be here to serve you and your children this year as the new Weekday Nursery School Director.  Here at Weekday Nursery School, we believe your children are all blessings from God and we thank you for sharing your little blessings with us each week!  It is going to be a great year!

This is an exciting time for our preschool!  I eagerly and enthusiastically look forward to the school year ahead.  Our qualified, loving, and dedicated teaching staff joins me in this enthusiasm and, as a team, we are committed to making your child’s preschool experience an adventure in learning and exploring God’s world while developing spiritually, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically.

Blessings

You will be disappointed in pre-kindergarten class if you expect your child to:

           Say his A B C’s
            Learn his 1 2 3’s
            Recite poems
            Perform and please
            Bring home daily artistries.

You will be pleased with pre-kindergarten class when you see that your child has improved attitudes in his ability to:

            Think of self and others
            Use crayons and scissors
            Explore and run
            Share his fun
            Finish what’s begun
            Put away when done
            Demand less “all or none”
            Restrict his “no”
            Let mother go
            Accept what’s so.
