BIBLE SUNDAY
November 23, 2008
While we honor the Word of God as presented through our scriptures every week, November 23 will be a special day to honor our Holy Bible. On this day all third grade students will receive their own Bible from the church in a special presentation at the 11:00 service. |

Sunday School
The past couple of weeks the children in Kindergarten through Fifth grade have been participating in the "Three Simple Rules" series in their Sunday school classes have been visited by John, Susanna and Charles Wesley. They had a great itme learning about the life and times of these three people through stories, scripture and songs. Also, most of the Sunday school classes wrote notes and/or drew pictures to be sent along with the clothes collected by our church to the children in the Middle East.
We
are still in need of a few more teachers and/or helpers in the
following classes:
4/5th grade - at least one helper for every other week
6th grade - at least two helpers for every other week
7/8th grade - at least two helpers for every other week
Jim and Terri Stull are teaching the 2nd grade class every week until the end of January but will be unavailable beginning in February. We will need two teachers to teach every other week until the end of the church school year (June 2009) or four teachers to teach every other week until the end. During
October we studied John Wesley's Three Simple Rules
1) Do no Harm, 2) Do Good, 3) Stay in Love with God.
We would like to share the following prayers our classes wrote to
express love to God.
Dear God,
Thank you for our friends and family.
Help us to do good everyday and to
Treat other people the way we want
to be treated.
And be respectful to others and to do
no harm to anybody.
We promise to always stay in love
